About us

ALL SAINTS’ EPISCOPAL CHURCH is located near the center of town off the main thoroughfare on a residential street easily accessible to the town and surrounding community. The Gothic style church and Parish Hall are situated on approximately ¼ acre of land with street parking. The nave has a crossed beamed cathedral ceiling. The soft cream color walls and wainscoting coupled with sunlight shining through the memorial stained glass windows produces an atmosphere of warmth. The Parish Hall includes a fully equipped kitchen, restrooms, vesting room and heating and air conditioning equipment. We enjoy brunches/luncheons and suppers, parish and diocesan meetings, and good fellowship in the parish hall.

ALL SAINTS’ QUEST To increase the membership of the congregation with a determined emphasis on attracting families with children and to retain current membership. To maintain financial stability by increases in membership and contributions, controlled spending, and contributing time. To enhance the spiritual growth of the members of the congregation. To offer a strong worship program, which meets the needs of the congregation. To provide guidance, leadership, and programs which strengthen the relationships and involvement within the congregation. To continue to engage in outreach activities in service to the community. To see that the pastoral needs of the congregation are met. To instill a sense of pride, fellowship and dedication in order to have more members involved in all activities of our parish.

THE DIOCESE All Saints’ is part of the Diocese of Southern Virginia headquartered at Newport News, under the spiritual leadership of our Diocesan Bishop. The Diocese is currently under the leadership of the Rt. Rev. Susan Haynes. The diocese stretches more than 300 miles from the Atlantic Ocean westward to Dan River and from the south side of the James River at Richmond to the North Carolina border. There are nine convocations in the diocese. We are in the eighth.
